It should start installing the driver, and if it pops up a dialog to confirm that you trust the Adafruit driver then make sure to approve it. In the next dialog browse to the path where you extracted the Trinket drivers above and click next. Then select "Browse my computer for driver software". Right click that Trinket device and click "Update Driver Software.". You should hear the new device ding sound again and device manager will update to show a "Other Devices" node with a "Trinket" device under it. Then press the bootloader button on the Trinket so the red LED starts pulsing. With the Trinket plugged in open Device Manager to see a list of all devices on the computer. However we can go in and manually install the driver without much more trouble. Unfortunately it looks like Windows 10 doesn't pop up a dialog to install the driver for a new device like it used to do on Win 7, 8, etc. You should hear a little ding that Windows detected a new device while the red LED on the Trinket pulses (and another ding when the red LED stops pulsing and the bootloader ends). Then plug the Trinket in to your computer. Here's what I did to get a Trinket programmed from Windows 10: Oh interesting, I just tried on a Windows 10 machine and it looks like the process of using the driver is a little bit different than other versions of Windows.
